No, it's not.
The evidence suggests very strongly that it is.
E.g. Cheese kept showing up for sale tome and again when I logged into GTHQ. I then got a request for cheese in one of my building projects and it hasn't shown up since.

It's human nature to try and make a connection like that. But what would be the point of spending the man hours on developing an algorithm like that? Contrary to the belief of some of the more complainy people on this board, EA is not specifically out to punch you in the face and eat your lunch. 🙂
