Some suggestions for SimCity

I've been playing SimCity for quite a while, and here are a few things I'd personally like to see improved:

1. Transportation Specialization

I really like the idea, but it feels weird that adding more transportation can sometimes make congestion worse. I'd love for Transportation Specialization to actually improve accessibility and mobility, such as reducing congestion and giving nearby specializations more visitors. I'd also like to see SimCity rely a little less on car-centric development.

2. More distinctive specialization effects

Each specialization could have more unique benefits. Education already does this through things like unlocking advanced services, so I'd love to see similar effects elsewhere. For example, education could boost commercial or factory production, while transportation could improve accessibility which boosts other specialisations and reduce congestion.

3. Make regional cities contribute to taxes

If I build up another city and attract many residents, it would be nice if that population contributed to the regional tax somehow. Right now, it can feel like I'm spending money developing other cities without getting much benefit from it. It sometimes feels like I'm building them simply because I can.

Maybe some of the tax revenue could go to the regional currency while the rest goes to Simoleons, or perhaps all of it could contribute to the regional economy.

4. Currency exchange

I'd also like some way to exchange or transfer certain regional currencies/resources. Having several currencies that can't really interact with each other can feel pretty restrictive. I have a regional currency that I haven't unlocked yet somehow and it's quite annoying that I couldn't convert that money into simoleons.

5. Rework nuclear power

I'd love to see nuclear power represented as a high-cost but highly efficient  energy source instead of simply making it highly polluting, because nuclear power plant is very sustainable actually. So when nuclear power plant is depicted as very polluting/toxic is quite misleading.

6. More weather customization

The time-of-day customization is soo amazing, but I'd love to see more options for rain, fog, clear skies, or even seasonal atmospheres like snow. These visual changes could give cities their own character and make the game more customizable and fun to play.

Overall, I don't think SimCity needs to become more complicated just for the sake of it. I'd just love to see the existing systems interact more meaningfully and give us more reasons to develop our cities in different ways.
