"Sorry, Mayor! - This account is already linked to another city. We cannot log

I'm in a similar position - a couple of months ago I lost my internet connection for over a day, only to discover I couldn't overwrite that save with its copy on my device I continued with offline.

Unfortunately, however, there is NO way to even delete a save stored on your connected, social accounts...

Every other game allows you to overwrite a save, and people have been complaining for years but, being EA, they call it a "security feature" they have no desire to replace or improve.

My problem happened after the last update.  I tried reinstalling, went through the tutorial, then when I tried to connect through Facebook, I got the same message asking to connect to a different city.

I have a problem like it in simcity buildit.

Someone logged into my fb account and messed up my linked account which was an account lvl. 17 and deleted everything (buildings that could be bulldozed) And wasted all the the money along with selling all items then left the money it looked like. 

I tried to restart with the same layout I did in the beginning and I can't get above 25% happiness so I went for help in a Facebook group and was told to start a new account which won't be much help because I go through phones a lot.

I fixed the problem and changed the password but I can't get my old data back.

If you have any tips or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
