Sounds (music and other) both turned off but still getting sounds

I don't know how long this has been going on since I usually keep my phone sound (Android) turned all the way down, but I've just noticed that I am getting sounds from buildit even though I have all sounds turned off in settings. Are ads now able to override the sound settings? If so, this needs to be fixed, I do NOT want ANY sound coming from buildit.

Anyone else notice this issue?
