So, I got a reply from EA’s in-game chat support and I quote:
“Please let me share that studio had picked up on this immediately and re-activated the Event for the final day, restoring all progress a player had to that point.
Since now we have a new Event Active (Nordic Nirvanna) the issue is seen as resolved.”
That is a blatant lie, since my screenshots clearly show the event was NOT reactivated with only 10 hours to go.
No apology. No offer to compensate me with the final reward or some Seasonal coin, just a lie about when they fixed it and close the case.

My event certainly was not restarted. As my game constantly freezes with other problems still not resolved I have to constantly restart the game and would have noticed if the event was restarted, so yes, it was a blatant lie from EA and different to what they told me. I have asked how they intend to compensate players but no surprise, they haven’t responded yet.

They told me the same lie. I don't know when I got the answer, I only noticed the red dot today, I barely played after Wednesday.
