The Unfortunate Truth to Dedicated SimCity Players....
This is going to be a long, yet very truthful statement that I must exfoliate upon a deep concern I have against the unfair, aggressive push developers have on their players to put money into this game. I agree on the fact that EA wants to make money ( don't we all ), or better said "as much money as possible" off of the purchase of Premium content unlocks....
....but its a huge slap in the face to see how much a Premium Pass Buyer gets compared to the sad amount of bonus items or cool content one does get whom does not purchase Premium Vu Pass or Premium Mayors pass and just simply loves playing the game. Yea the price is cheap, cool. But the comparison between the two is a clear indication that EA is only using the power of persuasion to lure as many as they can to make that purchase. Which from my personal experience has only made me not want to purchase it. I get it, "lets make an exact mirror copy to the premium pass we see millions of people invest in on other franchises such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, Apex, and pretty much every other games that are popular today.....We can make millions doing the same as they do."
Solid tactic I must say, solid tactic. I cant complain about the success of the initial measure. But when it comes down to things like leaving every other non buyers Mayor Pass award section blank, to basically say "lets constantly remind them, every time they complete a level in mayors pass that they could have been awarded something here, IF they would just purchase Premium.."
Its seriously leaves me thinking in my mind "REALLY?! They are that desperate?! Is EA hurting for funds and cant fund their devs or something?!"
Don't get me wrong, the game is absolutely gorgeous and I truthfully admire even the smallest details you guys put into the game. Its a true work of art.
But to be constantly slapped in the face over and over, feeling like you've done all this work for nothing on the game, to get small amounts of rewards compared to the ones who decided to pay to win, or pay to have more, or pay to advance quicker, or pay to compete in war more usefully really makes me want to just stop playing all together.
I do see you guys give alot of free things out here and there, cool, but lets not forget that you force a useless ad upon each and every one of us every time we do get something free, r do want to advance ahead of things a bit quicker.
Most of us are dedicated SimCity players and love to play the game for what it is. I love the game and have spent a lot of time on it, but to see some of the things I've addressed previously in this post truly makes me question my own personal time and real time invested into the game. We are not puppets, it shouldn't be a game of cat n mouse, "you want this item to be completed instantly in the factory? Welp not without watching an ad first buddy.....but don't get to ansy, were going to limit your ads as well, so that maybe you'll get sick of the ads and put some money into the game"
Either way, sadly im fine with the ads and stuff we have to do to get the free stuff and chances at rare items, golden keys, or sim bucks...because every other franchise does the same and treats us all as their puppet slaves anyways to make their paid advertisers happy campers.
I must add though, I've never, NOT ONCE downloaded an app that I've seen on an ad, or even wanted to. Not ONCE.
In conclusion to this statement, all i'm really asking for is maybe give us people out there a little more rare items or cool bonuses for the actual dedicated time we personally invest into the game because we SIMPLY LOVE PLAYING THE GAME.
Dont even get me started on how ridiculous the "Ways to earn SimCash" sections is....ill get banned.
Just a whole bunch of puppet slave scam tactics..."Want to earn 1500 SimCash? Well you gotta donate 20$, or sub to our business for 15$ today and monthly, Want up to 150?! SimCash? Not until you do a survey and become yet another statistic."

Second statement I must vent is the aggressive counter algorithm devs have placed into the game to prevent items you need for residential upgrades to be MUCH harder to find in the market ONLY when the items are needed for an upgrade. I understand that you guys want us to build items from scratch and whatnot, but it would be alot more fun to work towards building items for upgrades if the build times weren't so long. I'm just asking on the algo to be a bit less aggressive. Its quite obvious that you have this counter in place because low and behold as soon as I've spent 30min-1hour looking around the market for one item sometimes, while waiting for it to be created in shops, all of a sudden once i have the item, i see the same item appearing in the market place like it now on sale in clearance section appearing almost every other market refresh. Like c'mon, please. Stop treating us like puppet slaves to this amazing game, and lets bring the fun back to it. Please.
