What are the Popsicles for?

Has anyone figured out wha's the point in earning ICE POP?

(CM: Edited to add more context to thread title)

  • Hi cr3vez,

Popsicles can be used for completing new quests, which grant Snowflakes rewards. You can then exchange Snowflake Coins in the Seasonal Currency Showcases for limited-time buildings and special items.

    >> Edit to add: We've created an event guide, and it covers Popsicles and how to use them, along with the Chicago Missions, and more, complete with visual aids for more clarity. Check it out: Season Experience: Navigating Popsicles & Snowflakes

Even if you completed all 4 tasks, I think you would still have had to buy Snowflake Coins to get the Gothic Tower.
This update has changed that system.

I personally have not had a mission requiring popsicles, but one of my team has and says it is not working

Chicago Missions is not working for me. There is no where to exchange the popsicles or buy anything with them.

Im done buying the premium pass if EA can’t get the game to work.

This recent update is a bust.

after finishing 6th in my mayors race, I’d only stacked 3200 snowflake coins, no where near enough for a special content building. Seems absurd that I should have done that well but received so little seasonal currency And I only made it halfway through the diversity pride house event track.

The missions are impossible to complete for people that put in tons of hours and there’s no where to use these silly popsicles

So it is required to pay lots of money essentially to purchase the riverwalk and such, making it impossible for people to succeed in the season and get the gothic tower without paying. I think this is unfair that real money decides how you succeed in the season right from the beginning.

g25uro5p3ops - You don't exchange popsicles. You don't buy anything with them. They exist solely to complete parts of the Chicago Missions. To earn a handful of coins that aren't enough to buy the main buildings.

What isn't working for you on Chicago Missions specifically?

  • Snowflakes and Popsicles are two separate things. I can can collect and spend Snowflakes but the Popsicles do absolutely nothing! The marker solution is wrong. Nowhere does it tally how many Popsicles I've collected, nor can I exchange or spend them!

This is not a solution! You've regurgitated what is says in the game. They do absolutely nothing.
