Hi @lemmonsdixon - I don't think you need a wrapper program, installing mods on SimCity is fairly simple and I think it works the same way on a Mac as it does on PC. Just make sure you extract the mod, you want to move the *.package file to your SimCityData folder (a file ending in .rar is not going to work)

Simtropolis is probably your best bet for getting help with installing mods for SimCity. Here's a thread with some good info. If you do a Google search for "how to mod simcity on a mac" there are also some helpful videos & threads listed. Happy Building!
