SimCity 2013 Crashes when entering a Multiplayer city

When I open an already started multiplayer city, the game will crash on the loading screen that follows selecting "play" on the city in the region. The game immediately reboots the computer with only a kernel-power error in event viewer. I can start a new city and it loads properly, but if I enter a started city, the computer reboots.

Specs: Dell Optiplex 9020, Intel i7-4770, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro
