SimCity Societies Destinations won't launch – no simcity5_cp1 licence issued
Platform: PC, Windows 11, EA app 13.813.1.6327 Game: SimCity Societies (Standard Edition) + Destinations add-on, both installed through the EA app EA Help report: 70b2620b-9489-4756-ac60-9c224db28759 Live chat case: 257720257 The problem • The base game runs fine. • Destinations never starts. "Manage add-ons" lists "SimCity Societies Destinations – Installed (2.92 GB)", but it has no Play option, and the game page only says "Standard Edition owned". • Launching SCSDestinations.exe just starts the base game. The EA app routes the request to the base offer (DR:80737000) and only issues the simcity5_na licence, never simcity5_cp1. • The EA app log (ProgramData\EA Desktop\Logs\EADesktop.log) says on every start: "Skipping license request because no launch entitlement was found for offerId=[DR:104042800]". DR:104042800 is the Destinations offer (slug simcity-societies-destinations). So my account has no launch entitlement for Destinations. Already tried • Repair; running the EA app as administrator; DirectX End-User Runtime installed. • Copying the Destinations folder into the main install folder (support's suggestion). It broke the base game; I had to undo it with Update + Repair. • Licence cache reset (moved the .dlf file, App Recovery > Clear cache, reboot). The base licence was re-issued fine; there's still no simcity5_cp1.dlf. Live chat outcome The agent confirmed EA's server is not issuing the Destinations licence for my account and logged it as a bug (case 257720257), but chat support can't change entitlements. Request Could a community manager please escalate this so the launch entitlement for offer DR:104042800 (Destinations) is added to my account, or move my account to the Deluxe Edition, which includes Destinations? SimCity worked fine yesterday. Now today when I try to launch SimCity from the EA app or from my desktop, it wants to open an old Origin window to login. After logging in with account info it then asks to "Enter Product Key". However the button to click and enter key is not functioning. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, searched for any Origin related file throughout computer, including registry, there are none, and still cannot figure out why SimCity will not launch. Anyone have any ideas????
I Own Cities of Tomorrow EA App says I dont
I have not played this in game in ages , so I checked all my add on before I install it and Notice EA App says I don't own it. I do, I bought the expansion on the day of release see beside crashing 15,000 times and a forever loop when installing the game from App I couldn't load the first starter map was another forever loop. plzs fixsimcity apparently already playing
just downloaded simcity and it wont play. i checked that my laptop met all the requirements and it does. i click to run the game and it says im not connected to the internet, which i am, and asks me if i want to continue single-player or quit. clicking single player does nothing, it returns to my desktop and if i click to run the game again, it says the games already running. ive tried rebooting my laptop but still the same issue. whats going on? why wont it run? can anyone help please? 🙏SMCY-26 Error
I am having issues with the 2013 SimCity game. I bought it today and the game loads to about ninety percent and then gives the SMCY 26 error code. EA support has not been helpful. I spent hours trying to fix this with no success. I repaired the game in the EA app reinstalled it into a fresh folder outside Program Files checked folder permissions set the EA app to run as administrator confirmed that no antivirus is active deleted leftover files from Documents and Local AppData restarted and updated my PC disabled startup apps and tried running the game in Windows 7 mode. My PC meets all system requirements. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. I do not know what else to try.
