simcity apparently already playing
just downloaded simcity and it wont play. i checked that my laptop met all the requirements and it does. i click to run the game and it says im not connected to the internet, which i am, and asks me if i want to continue single-player or quit. clicking single player does nothing, it returns to my desktop and if i click to run the game again, it says the games already running. ive tried rebooting my laptop but still the same issue. whats going on? why wont it run? can anyone help please? 🙏SMCY-26 Error
I am having issues with the 2013 SimCity game. I bought it today and the game loads to about ninety percent and then gives the SMCY 26 error code. EA support has not been helpful. I spent hours trying to fix this with no success. I repaired the game in the EA app reinstalled it into a fresh folder outside Program Files checked folder permissions set the EA app to run as administrator confirmed that no antivirus is active deleted leftover files from Documents and Local AppData restarted and updated my PC disabled startup apps and tried running the game in Windows 7 mode. My PC meets all system requirements. If anyone has suggestions please let me know. I do not know what else to try.
