Simcity 5 keeps crashing.

I have lost 3 major cities now.  This is SO frustrating.  It's one thing for a game to crash occasionally, it's another to lose the hours of progress that I put into a game.

I doubt me chiming in will have any help towards getting this fixed, but I get a complete freeze and have to ctrl alt del out of the game and start back at the same time every single restart.  Roughly get 5 minutes of play before this happens, so I am completely stuck.

same issue, on both my computers, this started happening today for me....freezes up completely , the sounds keeps going on but the game completely stops....what a bummer

I'm just stared having the same issue on a public game I joined about two weeks ago.  The game freezes at roughly the same time.  The in game clock is at  9:23am and as soon as it gets 10am area it freezes.  Tried about 7 different times and the same thing happens...like clockwork...

I just started crashing as well out of the blue after the most recent upate.  Game was running fine prior.  Now SimCity stops working after 5-10 mins.  

*Edit*  There seems to be a correlation with viewing a tooltip and the game crashing in my scenario.  All recent crashes have been when a tooltip was loading,

Same here, only 1 city out of 4 in one region, now cannot even go to that city without crashing SC. I'm on NAW1, happens no matter what machine I use, everything from my i7 uber gaming machine down to my XP VM on my MBP.

Like clockwork, 20 minutes into the game, my laptop shuts down... without warning. Brand new Toshiba, no issues with any other games.... Pretty disappointed in this waste of time & money! Have not been able to play the game, wish I could get a refund!

This game keeps hanging after 5 mins of game play in a region that has been used heavly when a grandworks starts construction.

After using a few tools it looks like it is stuck in an infinite loop, I havn't really checked for memory/handle leaks yet. If i create a new city in a new region it doesn't seem to get stuck in this possible loop after playiing for a couple of hours. You are a big company if your QA department can not pick up on this sort of major bug they need to be properly trained or more customers are going to dislike you EA.

The simcity process keeps doing this over and over when the application becomes not responsive. This was found using process monitor
