When will you upgrade SimCity Complete Edition from 32 Bit to 64 Bit for Mac, through Origin? Catalina will not all 32 Bit App or Games to open. There should be a solution to this issue by now as ASPYR has already updates its version of SimCity Complete Edition recently to 64 Bit, though the Mac App Store. If you are not going to update the game, through Origin, to 64 Bit, will you do the right thing and refund customers their money (I haven't even had the game for long)?

I wasted $30 on this. I have spent over 1000 on origin just for sims games ALONE and this is frustrating enough to make me never give you people another dollar. what a waste of hard earned money I am so mad. literally fuming. I have spent hours trying to figure this out, I even deleted ALL OF MY EA AND SIMS CONTENT trying to figure this out and at his point I am over it and ready to sell my ea account because this is so bogus I could scream. thanks for robbing me!!!!! NOT!!!! literal trash that I didn't go to a forum to see if a game would work before downloading it on my $3000 computer. never have I been so mad over $30 and y'all just lost a life long customer that's how mad I am!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is so frustrating! EA have said they have no plans to make SimCity 64-bit, which means we either have to purchase it AGAIN on the mac app store as ASPYR have the updated version, or go through the whole process of reverting your entire computers OS back to Mojave! So disappointed and mad ☹️

Did you find any solution? It just happened to me! I bought the game because it said it was compatible to Mac and now I am not being able to install it or find a solution. I don't want my money back, I want my game to work!

EA prefers to update SIMCITY Build-it... their money machine for their stupid customers... We lost one of the best games in the world. At least Rollercoaster Tycoon isn't still death!Is a stupid pay to win player better than a passionated player?For EA ... @ellamaree8I have a new Mac laptop with an M! chip which they also do not plan to fix. I downloaded the version of Sim City on the applications site and it only runs on intel not M1 chip. Beware of your laptop. Also you cannot revert back to a previous operating system that I know of. I have tried before unsuccessfully. This is my favourite game and I am so disappointed in Origin. I have now not played since Nov 2020 and with Covid I could have used my game extensively. Fortunately Apple did refund the cost of the game. I paid Origin years ago for something that will never work. Lots of people do use a Mac.

@Trolleyhood EA's refund policy is that games are only eligible for refunds for the first 14 days after purchase even if you never launched them. If you did play at one point and then upgraded your computer later, you should have read the documentation about what changes the OS update would bring.

I'm sure Apple has no interest in issuing credit or free games to people so they can access the 64-bit versions.
