Whenever I try to play Destinations, it returns to Societies, the base game instead.
I tried using the launcher in the Destinations files, but it's the same problem. Compatibility and reinstallations did not work either
I have been unable to play Destinations which adds flavor and challenge that the base game lacked.
It worked on Origin a few years back but not so on the EA app.
I tried to create a case for this but I'm stuck on the issue many have experienced with this message and the "resume case" button not working:
I'm also having this issue. Has anyone found a fix for it yet, maybe with the use of "advance launch options"?

I managed to get x2 short cuts onto my desktop one for destinations and the other for the vanilla version!
This worked for me.
I cannot remember if the shortcuts came from the EA app OR I created the shortcut myself from the actual exe (make your way to where the game is installed!).

I've tried using a shortcut as well as using the .exe's found in the game's files, but unfortunately neither of them run the Destinations expansion pack.
I'm also unable to run it even if I open the designated launcher and tick the box to load with the expansion.
I see that the .exe files are of differing sizes, so I'm assuming that means the data is present in the folders.
