I can't get on either! Why are they even doing the online stuff?? I don't want to play online! I want a refund!

What I cannot understand is why there has not been a press release saying that this is a known issue and they are working to resolve it. Really that's all it would take to make some customers happy. Just an acknowledgement that they know about the issue. How hard is that?
Why has a solution to our problem not been addressed yet? I have been looking forward to this game for a while and I can't even play it. PLEASE FIX NOW!!!!

Same.
Angry.
All these problems for an $80 game? Seriously?
EA sucks
I cannot claim new towns, but at the moment, my old towns are working. Do we know if they are working on this issue?

This is beyond ridiculous. Couldn't log in when I bought it yesterday and now today after a long day at work I'm being booted from the launch window due to a "network error". Seriously?! My network is fine. At least be honest with your error prompts....

I was so close to not buying this game due to all the technical problems I've been hearing, but against my better judgingment I dropped $90 dollars for the deluxe edition. First experience with the game was an error message while trying to create my city.
Totally unacceptable - this is exactly why your users are upset about "always on DRM". Lession learned, trust broken, not buying another game from EA until it's playable without being connected to a server.
This is exactley why steam sucks and so does this EA version. NOBODY CARES ABOUT **bleep**ING ONLINE PLAY YOU IDIOTS!! EVEN IF WE DID WE COULD CONNECT VIA THE INTERNET WITH OUT YOUR BULL**bleep** SERVERS!!! FIX THIS **bleep**!! PATCH IT SO IT'S NOT ON ORIGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Anonymous12 years agoStill having this problem. Several servers, several create screens. Error pops up. I was excited on Monday, thought things would be better Tuesday, angry now on Wednesday. Now, asking, how do I get a refund? It is rather upsetting to release a game that seems to have so many paying customers not able to use it. Many companies would be sending out small motivators to be keeping the players interested. Not EA, they never have done it when Sims does not work and is probably the worst when it comes to any of their games. Again, how do I get my money back? Or will this become a class action issue? I guess we will see if they can get it to work.
For lack of a better phrase, this is total bull.
I look forward to EA games all the time, but it seems lately it's one disappoint after another. And now it's been two days since I haven't been able to try it.
Why did I even pay $65 for this game. I doubt I'll buy another game from them in awhile if at all.
