Are the controls for an Xbox Controller on PC glitched?

I have noticed a few issues with the game so far. It always shows PS controls when I have an xbox and steam recognizes its an xbox controller as well. Then when I try and walk somewhere it keeps barr...

my Xbox controller works as expected, I think y'all's issue is local to your machine or settings
