CPU hitting 100c

For some reason, whenever I put my graphics settings past low which I believe unlocks the 30 fps cap, my i7-13700k hits 100c and stays there when playing this game. I believe this is because it is making the fps past low uncapped? Anyone know a fix for this? Is there any way to set a certain fps in this game or why putting my settings past low makes my cpu hit 100c? I am running a 3070 ti with 32 gb of 3200 mhz RAM, no other game does this to my PC
