Add some 'angry' facial options...
I'm 100% sure that some of us would rather have some angry-looking facial features instead of the 'always happy and kind' (almost feminine) options that we have in-game. A simple set of angled eyebrows and smirking lips could do the trick, imo. I've added an original in-game screenshot as well as an edited version, so y'all can see what I mean.
EA won’t help me
I was claiming skate pass items and suddenly the game had me buying skate pass currency with the pink currency. Games bugged out and now EA support won’t help me and told me to look at the forums. I just want them to reverse that transaction. I’m not asking for money on my debit card. Game is in early access and bugs a lot and they don’t want to help.
Skate 4
I've been playing this game since it's release and havnt really meshed with it. The animation for the characters almost look like something out of fortnite. The rotating challenges aren't great, you basically play the same thing over and over which makes you loose interest quickly. The map is nothing to write home about because its so small. There's only very good spots to skate. The game is insanely buggy, almost everyone I've talked to about it turnes it off due to frustration. The content sucks, no one wants to grind out objectives for hours just to open mystery boxes to receive lame a** stickers that we'll never use. There's no npc's to interact with like pro skaters, filmers, security guards or pedestrians. There's only like 8 brands in game which really sucks. Build a park would have been great but all we got is a small selection of ramps/rails to drop and at a very small limited amound. All in all, this game is dying and it doesn't seem like you guys really care or due much about it to bring it up. Skate 3 was the peak and skate 4 is the beginning of the skate franchises death. This was my favorite skateboarding franchise and i can't bare to see this game like this. Please try to revive this game where it should be. The skate comunity needs it.
Skate Early Access – Crash Report (PC)
Issue: Skate crashes consistently when running the game alone. No other programs, overlays, or even mild applications like Spotify are active. What I’ve Tried: Verified system stability using deep SFC/DISM scans and pagefile optimization. Tested other games and apps/browser (Kingdom Hearts 3, Discord, Twitch, Spotify) – all stable. Launched Skate alone after a clean reboot – crash persists. Lowered in-game graphics settings – no improvement. System Specs: CPU: Intel Core i9-13900HX GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090 Laptop GPU RAM: 96 GB DDR5 OS: Windows 11 Storage: 8 TB NVMe SSD Notes: Other high-load games and apps run fine. All drivers and system repairs up to date. Request: Would love feedback or confirmation if others are seeing similar crashes in this early access build. The gestures/emotes in the game are absolutely fantastic and super fitting for the game. I’d love for there to be on a gesture emote wheel option, sorta similar to Fortnite for better accessibility. ADDITIONALLY, it would be amazing if we could get the emotes separated by on-board, and off-board, because some emotes I expected to work via both on/off but it doesn’t. It’d also be killer if there could be a way to toggle on-board emotes to just play on loop while you’re riding, just for comedic video effects or something. And maybe after a wipeout we could have a way to change expressions in the video editor? I’ve been having a blast taking screenshots around San Van but some of the expressions are a little…not pretty XD And I’m sure it’s been said but more hair options, please! And more colors :3The current game is a dream state
Offline mode where you wake up graphics are real you have a stamina bar kind of like in ACvalhalla and your just a skater filming parts for videos while life stuff happens to you throughout a normal story. And any time you’d like, you go fall asleep on a couch or in bed or in your car and you go back to San Van to jump off skyscrapers etc. stamina bar would make landing tricks satisfying. You could even make bad enough injuries make you have to quit skating a certain spot until the next day or so. Make skating a handrail satisfying. In a world that is not built for skating. You do that and you can basically put together the most vanilla story ever told around it I don’t think it’d matter
