I can’t really explain it and it might be totally different for you but when I launch Skate through the EA launcher my CPU temperature shoots up to around 91C. When I run it through Steam though it stays in the low to mid 70s.
I have no idea why that happens since my settings are identical on both and I cant see how a different launcher would impact temps, but that’s just been my experience.
