Crossplay for PS5 on skate. Early Access

I’ve been trying to play the new skate. early access with my boyfriend. He has a PC and I have a PS5. Although I’ve heard complaints about crossplay between PC and Xbox as well, my boyfriend was playing with a full party consisting of himself on the PC, 2 Xbox players, and another PC player with no problem. No lagging, no connection errors, nothing. For me, every time I try to join his party, it doesn’t even give me as much as a loading screen to indicate travel before showing me an error code that I failed to connect. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there anything I can do to resolve it? The message on the screen says unresolvable error and I’m a little frustrated because I feel like I’m missing out on the social experience of the game. Please advise :(
