The pump mechanic has been the main issue for playability and it’s as if the devs simply don’t give a **bleep**. They’re focused on micro transactions, that’s why they keep adding stuff no one asked for instead of fixing the core mechanics which is what’s causing players, much like myself, to leave the game entirely. My personal experience with it, pump assists on or off I can’t figure it out to save my life, and if I do nothing I go up in the air with speed it’s so broken. They are catering to try-hard streamers and an audience that doesn’t exist, for some reason people forget that not only are the core mechanics complete **bleep** but most of the game is missing just about everything that made the skate franchise what it is (hall of meat, S.k.a.t.e., skating brands, professional cameos etc. etc.) but the devs are like “oh we’re just gonna completely ignore all of that, here’s some stupid little outfits, here’s some **bleep** to build a bouncy house, oh and we’re not changing the map or adding mega parks”. It’s as if EA just loves running franchises into the ground, they did the same thing with the NFS franchise, gave it to Criterion and drove their fanbase away with NFS Unbound. Same **bleep**, different studio, and Full Circle has got to be even worse at it.
