Appreciate the time and effort.
This system should replace loot boxes. I've suggested this concept for about a year, sans visuals. Loot boxes aren't needed. Just let us earn RC and purchase basic items from the ship.
My main feeling is that they realize once players get exactly what they want, even with simple items, they won't purchase anything with SVB.
