Feedback, Ideas & Opinions

First, I want to say that the game is definitely good. Maybe even great, overall. The parkour is fluent, (I think y'all should create a free roam parkour game honestly) skating is fluent, tricks are fluent, it also feels good to be skating around, with real people, in real time, instead of just ghosts of friends. Also, the little ramps, benches & rails that we can put down and sesh on is cool too. I DO NOT think that this game is bad or anything like that at all. I know it's still a brand-new game and that there's still a lot of progression to come. I just feel like the things I'm about to mention should be looked at, added into the game or fixed. These are just personal opinions from myself and a few friends, that we have spoken about together as we were playing. (One of them even has the beta and got to play the game early, we've also been playing NONSTOP together the entire time.) I'm not going to mention the connection errors and crashes because that's a given for a brand-new game. It's not going to be perfect right away.

The things I personally don't really like...

Quarter Pipe Airs.

I cannot stand the fact that I can't air quarter pipes over coping unless I'm going 95 MPH. Not literally but kind of. It could be just me and maybe I'm just trash or something, but I can definitely boost airs over coping in all the other skate games just fine. All of us can. I personally don't think that it's a user error. Just one of those tedious things, that makes it unsatisfying to play. It's kind of a bummer.

The Controls.

I will say that after playing ''SkaterXL'' roughly 1,000 hours over the past few years, that going back to the skate 3 controls are difficult to get used too again. Especially going back and forth between the two games due to the parks and settings that are available in the others. I think it would be nice to be able to have at least the option to turn on the "left joystick control the left foot, and the right stick control the right foot", and turn with the bottom triggers. (You can still use the joystick to turn slightly.) I'm sure you're familiar with what I'm talking about. it such a better feeling to real us real life skaters. much more satisfying. Even Fully Customizable Controls to be able to do it ourselves, would be nice. Like being able to button map them to paddles on the back of our controllers or whatever it may be that we have, to use. I personally think that would be such a positive thing to add. I'm more than willing to lose grab tricks, to have this as a setting. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to have a few extra settings.

The Map & Challenges.

I dislike that there are so many challenges that overlap each other, inside the map. Personally, I think after a challenge is completed, that it should disappear from the map, unless toggled on. I just think that when they overlap, that it makes it look like a yellow blob just in the way of things. It also prevents you from hovering over specific challenges to see what they are. (Sure, it doesn't really matter; it's just one of those things.) It would be cool to be able to toggle on and off certain challenge types, and or finished challenges.

 The Replay Mode.

Not a fan of the replay editor mode. Theres only 3 basic camera angles, we're not able to add keyframes to film, it's just super basic and nothing more to it, really.

The Character & Board Customization.

I feel like the customization is very weak, in my opinion. The skate shop should have at least 1,000 more items, basic items to at least start with. It's weird mobbing around, and half of the people you come across got the same fit on as you. Things like being able to move the stickers around, make them bigger or smaller, paint the blank decks whatever color we want, etc. Things like that would make the game feel more "personal" & give it a much more satisfying feeling when playing.

Again, these are just my opinions and the way I personally feel about the game that bother me the most, not saying the game sucks or that it's even bad at all. I just think that it needs some more things added for the other type of gamers (SkaterXL, Session).

Thank you in advance.
