Freezing after a few minutes in the tutorial. Game is unplayable

I can't seem to get past the tutorial as after just a few minutes the game freezes. Whatever sound was playing continues to play, but the image freezes and pressing any buttons does nothing. Game is unplayable. Playing on PC.
