Grinding Vert Ramps

Long time player first time suggestion. I’m level 10 on Hedgemount, Gulcrest, and Market Mile

With a rip score of 17.4k

A true San Van Staple.
I have only one concern after playing this long. I thought it would be ironed out by now, but ironically grinding the lip of any vert ramp: the transition out is awkward.

if you 50-50 any half pipe, quarter pipe, or bowl— then try to slide off the coping into the ramp you’ll see what I mean.
Ruins the flow of transition skating.
Thanks. :) The skate franchise is the only true skateboard video game franchise. I appreciate your contributions to both cultures— video game/ skateboarding respectively.

I agree. Whenever I lean out of grinds it feels like a fixed animation that's almost too boopy? I love the grind leans for popless double grinds. Tbh we need that or grinding feels DEAD.

I really wish they would give us all the sick skate 3 hippy jump parkour tech and physics. Like you could ride a pallet down a hill and meet up w your board at the bottom. You could throw your board out in front of you and jump onto it. They had objects you could place and knock over w physics, and grinds, etc. It just overall seems like a more polished SKATE game.

  • its so frustrating!.  I loved transition skating in the previous games even though they weren't perfect but with Skate. I'm really only left with the option to do airs because the grinding exit animations or lack there of make it almost impossible to get a good realistic flow.

Yeah I seriously h8 when I'm on the coping hitting a SICK grind and I go to drop into the ramp and I'm SIDEWAYS xD

Like bro I have grinded, went to go into the ramp, and I've hit my **bleep** on the coping xD Maybe I fall more often than others but hey I think after a 50-50 there's gotta be a way to guide ourselves straight down the ramp without getting locked up sideways up there.
