Honest feedback of a newbie about skate.

I am a diehard tony hawk games fan and i never had a chance to play older skate games. when i heard about the next skate being for pc AND for free, i felt happy but also doubtful. skate was known for being more simulative than tony hawk so i actually didn' know whether i would find skate too difficult. 

i had a chance to play during playtests and i can confirm: skate is a solid, fun game. as a skate-game newbie but a tony hawk fan, im not having any problem learning the game. for me, this game is perfect to turn off the brain and... just go. probably will spend more and more hours!

i have heard something about the past games and i honestly don't get all this hate and negative reviews.

people expected a free to play game have no microtransactions at all? i'd rather have skins than paid content. 

i dont know what the game is missing from its predecessors, but this is an early access, it means it will be supported with more and more content and features. i just hope people will change their minds since this is a pretty valid game.

performance-wise, this is the first time i start a game and play with autoconfigured graphic settings. the game looks good and runs smooth. for now, no bugs or crashes at all. installed the game on HDD on purpose and, yes, it works well.
