How I feel about this game so far

Agree on all points except the 'too many females', that's a weird one. I don't even take notice of anybody else around me. Vee is female, but Shingo and the other dude are not. That's all I notice.
But yeah, the art style is too vibrant, corporate and soulless. I don't even bother with the soundtrack anymore, I have the music volume at 0 because it's so unappealing.
And the micro-transactions are frankly just a heartbreaking addition to the game. It completely ruins the 'skate shop' aspect of skateboarding culture. You can't get a feel for the skate shop, no selection of boards, shoes, clothing etc. It's just an awful arcade menu of random items that you can't search or browse in any meaningful way. It is absolutely awful.
Every time I play the game I have fun for 15 - 30 minutes, then start to feel kind of 'meh' and quit again. I like the skate mechanics but there is absolutely zero vibe or culture in the game. Corporate slop.
The AI guider thing is a lady the female, who gives you a tour of SV with long hair and the flannel is obviously a lady. I can understand where you’re coming from because you don’t listen to the music on there, but when I play skate games, including Tony Hawk. I like to listen to their soundtracks. I tried to do this with this game and I can’t recognize any of the music and a lot of it female which has nothing to do against women or anything, but skating is mostly a male dominated sport for the most part and it’s just really unrealistic and just feminized like a lot of things nowadays
