Skater XL still costs 40€ on steam, this game is free, and guess what, the skate team is not working for free so OBVIOUSLY there's cosmetics to buy in game, but you still have access to the whole game without having to spend a single penny.
Then, the game is an early access so yes there's a dramatic lack of content, we all just hope it will come in a not so far future and according to the roadmap it will
And you find the game too easy like the "skate magnetic ledge" just go in the settings and turn off all the assists, especially grind assist, pop min height and impulse sensitivity (this one makes your pop height and flip speed directly related to how fast you flick the stick)
That's no excuse. From the very beginning, they've been demanding as much money from us as possible, which is evident in the changes they've been making and the way the game is built. Their attitude towards changes to the game itself is nonexistent; they simply don't respond to our posts; they don't give a **bleep** about us. I won't tolerate such behavior. Remember, SKATE is a series with a history, and the multitude of people who actually started skateboarding thanks to this game must be respected. These people have no respect for the material they started working on! I have all the help settings turned off, it doesn't make the game any better, it's still terrible. I have thousands of hours of experience in skateboarding games, the options are the first thing I looked at in SKATE and there is nothing there that saves this game.
