your team only addresses soft locks and progression issues. no ones making any mention of what the plans are for the future or that your team is gunna make any changes to how scummy microtransactions are or how 60% of the unlockable items are for women? making the gameplay loop for a straight male worthless because whos out here stoked about getting their 5th rainbow piece of apparel or 10th crop top? theres nothing worth grinding for in the game. your dev team has ditched the original fanbase to appeal to infants and women that think skating looks cool but dont skate. thats why the entire fan base isnt playing. session is up 40% of the player base since last month.
skate 3 just on the xbox has on peak 15k people a day. xbox 360 is another 13k.
skate. barely has been able to break 11k peak players daily.
EA_Groguet its time for a change man. all full circle has done is waste our times and treat the original fans like children while barely making a game for 5+ years. no one is staying because the expectation was CKY and what we got was K-pop. youve washed any form of grit from skating. the original series was teen not even mature. it was funny. it had legitimate culture. This team has proven with the content provided so far that your team in fact doesnt care about skating or the culture around it.
your first tie in for merchandise is thrasher. but instead of doing a "HELLBOMB" event in game while bringing back deathraces maybe making one single hill instead your team decides to do a legit trick or treat event for children with 95% PAID FOR GEAR? ive never been apart of a halloween event where the bulk of cosmetics arent apart of the event and are paid for. even in a free to play.
do better and the community might return. if the devs keep up whats happening the game is going to have no players by its 1st anniversary.
skate started simulation skate boarding.
this game hangs that crown up to just be a Sims social hub with skateboarding involved.
talk to real skaters. go to some competitions in real life. see what the real community is like.
this game is for the 5% of skaters that like fashion and saying "thats hesh" when a lot of real skaters could care less about how they look.
youre appealing to people that like watching nyjah houstons main street league runs but dont know what baker 3 is (no offense too nyjah but those who get it get it). skating is harsh, its rough around the edges, its not safe and it takes real skill.
the old series gave you the realities of being a skater. you fall you get hurt; might even break your bones. yeah you can skate anywhere; but some places you gotta have some boys looking out or youll get arrested or your board taken by the police.
