Keyboard is overriding controller input

Question

I have a Keychron keyboard which I plug in via USB wireless dongle.

I can't play Skate with a plugged in Xbox One controller at all unless I unplug the dongle.

It's ridiculous since the dongle is obviously at the back of my PC.

When will there be a fix for this, and how many others are experiencing something similar?
