Laser Flip pop height

Laser flips seem to have a much lower maximum pop height compared to most of the other "360 ___flip" variations. It makes no sense for a 360 Inward Heelflip to be knee high while a Laser Flip barely gets me half way up the lower leg in terms of pop height.

This is after doing a ton of experimentation on the same spots of various ledges and other obstacles. Laser flips just don't make it up a lot of ledges that the other flips do. It makes for a weird inconsistency in the gameplay.
