My last feedback since you don't listen to the community
To preface this I must say that before Season 1 I was still keeping my hopes up. I understand how the market works, and that F2P games with less demanding graphics is the way to go to keep a game running. I was fine with it!
However, it has been made blatantly clear that what was once a passion project has just become a cash grab. The mechanics that you developed during the alphas and betas is great, the game runs really well and I love how the skating feels. But Skate used to be more about the culture - the music, the pros, the brands. But with the release of Season 1, this has completely changed.
I wasn't going to buy the Skate Pass anyway, but seeing the stuff in there is quite upsetting. What are these emotes? The cosmetics? It's all terrible. Have you actually gotten feedback from people within the skate community? Skating is a lot about getting sponsors, building a brand etc. This is just... empty.
The lingo in the missions is nothing but made up corporate "how do you do, fellow kids?". Music is nothing like it's supposed to; who greenlit songs like "Chores"?
We are still stuck with the terrible gamemode that is Jams, while the good ones like Spot Battle, S.K.A.T.E. and death races are nowhere mentioned.
Since you're not even responding to the actually constructive feedback, I'll stop trying. I'll stop playing. But it won't matter as people will keep playing and buying the microtransactions and I'll just have to watch my favourite franchise die with this game.
Thanks for (well, not) listening to my last rant.
