PLACING BUILDS IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE AND ENOYING AS HELL.

It's really not that bad, I've been doing **bleep** contraptions everywhere, you just sound overdramatic. If your on PC maybe your sensetivity or dpi is set too high for the game. Otherwise tho I just connected two rails with literally zero effort, and I built a makeshift tower with a ramp for extra launch at the riverwalk, so I'm not sure where your difficulty lies. 

Having the boxes and ramps be hallow is a great idea however.
