Randomly joining Co-op challenges..

Is randomly being forced into a co-op challenge while I’m already in a challenge normal or is this a bug that has recently surfaced ?? 

For the past week I have been experiencing a few odd behaviours with the game but I am really only complaining about one. Anyways, I will be minding my own business just skating as the game intended or I will be in my own challenge half-way through completion.. but then out of nowhere I will be teleported into a random co-op challenge with 5 other people in it. normally things like this don’t annoy me since I understand it’s a early stage game but over this last week it has progressed to being a random teleport every time I log on (at anytime) and anywhere from a 30s+ wait time for other players whom are already there, to actually start the challenge. I’m able to abandon the challenges but in my opinion I should not be being forced into challenges I did not sign up for.

My social settings are also set up for solo play majority of time since I’m 9/7/4 on the map at the moment and co-op just isn’t what I’m looking for right now during the early access.. so I just can’t fathom why I am being forced into co-op challenges more than once a day/week.
