Resolution auto lowered when using borderless fullscreen when launching game

I typically use borderless fullscreen in most of the games I play and when the game is launched and to resolve it I have to switch to fullscreen, confirm the changes and switch back to borderless window and confirm the change one last time.

(forgot to say this: but I'm on pc)
