Port Carverton was built for skaters in skate 3. this game is continuing with that idea but making it San Van again though is San Vansterdam instead of San Vanelona. impervatech unfortunately is more to reduce age rating than anything else. it allows them to not show bones breaking and blood in the game.
I actually completely forgot about that in skate 3 but tbh i meant like no-skate/mongocorp areas from the first two, it just added to the atmoshpere so much imo. with impervatek i think its more for sales reasons to make it more marketable to younger aduiences and their parents because all of the games are rated T by the esrb. granted its not a international rating and some countries may very but at least domestically they are completely valid to keep the same levels of harm they had in past titles. also im more than willing to bet hall of meat WILL be making a return and its a staple to the thrasher identity which their branded content is still featured in the game as well.
