This Franchise used to be cool

I love the look and esthetics of skate 1 but also love the gameplay improvements of 2-3. But this feels good to play but awful to play with others in the room. The voice acting is awful and the corporatization of everything sucks. Remove the robot thing. Bring back the camera guy following you. That was one of the coolest aspects of skate 1. The fact that skating is about expressing yourself and the ways it is accessible plus cheap to get into. Those aspects are removed from this game. It’s too fake feeling and empty. I play with the voice acting off and the robot removed. Feels super cringe to hear. I hope we can get brands to sponsor us like the first game and rep their gear FOR FREE. I want to rise through the ranks of MY skate story. Not play some version of fortnight skate game. Also, bring back the ways the screen changes when I get to x3 multiplier. That was so cool in the first game. Made it feel good to hit that and keep it going. Otherwise it’s fun.
