This Rip Chip change is the final straw

There's no point doing challenges anymore, there's no point logging in to play. As of now, I can't see myself playing this more than a few hours every year before remembering there are other more worthwhile uses of my time.

It's absolutely mind-blowing that there was a bug and this new change is the intended amount by the game designers. It was already tough to justify when it was "bugged", and this is an absolute slap in the face.
