Transition Skating 101 mission broken

Mission starts as normal. Hold right and left trigger at the start. Then the lighting goes dark, and the mission just ends. No end screen or text, the mission just goes away and the marker disappears. Restarting the game lets me start the mission again, but I get the same exact bug.
