"Trasher" story quest

When doing this quest I had come back in real time, without going to the session marker, and collected the trash items needed to complete the quest. When doing so it removed the items collected from the UI, giving me 3/5 collected,  but also removed the entity itself making me unable to collect it. So in turn I've been soft locked in story progression because I have 3/5 items collected even though I cannot see the actual entity in game. Please help, I would like to continue progressing in the story and am able to do so now.

    second image is about where the quest starts and as you can see there is no highlighted entities waiting to be collected, also ive somehow collected over the 12 bird poo needed :P

    I’m stuck on the same mission just with the 5-0 grinds 1/ 2 completed
