Tutorial Bug

My girlfriend just downloaded skate last night and is able to get past the main loading screen but once she starts the tutorial up to her getting her first board it goes into super slow mo movements then freezes. I don't understand how she's experiencing this on both of the xboxs we have but I have zero issues and have been able to play without issues since it came out. Not quite sure how that works though.
