Why the New Skate Game didn't have a offline mode ?

with the European Citizens' Initiative Stop Killing Games which is much talked about I did not expect the last Skate game to be a server-based game.

especially since nothing prevented an offline mode from being set up (a mode without the level system, without the missions ...) just free mode in the map

sincerely EA following this path would be something extremely well seen especially at this time when games which rely on servers cause concerns as we can see with the number of signatures of the initiative.

the game is great and I will find it a shame not to be able to play it again in 15-20 years and to have to return to Skate 2/3 via PS3/Xbox 360 emulator
