Wouldnt it be fun ....
if the developers wrote something here sometimes? Like anytime? any feedback, any response anything? whats the forum else for if no feedback is given...??
Hey there,
Thanks for the feedback! I can see what we can try to organise in the future. We want our forums to be a safe space for you to share your feedback, engage with other players, and report any issues you may encounter.
I'll pass this down to the team!

Engaging with other players is cool, but only devs can actually do anything about the issues raised.. reassuring to see you are reading this & hope all issues/ideas raised here are passed onto 'team'

Hi there,
I totally hear where you are coming from. My colleagues and I review all the information here and escalate reported issues, along with sentiment/feedback reports.
As the game is on Early Access, our team is heads-down working hard on the game, that means that every hour in threads is an hour not investigating or fixing issues.
I know that direct chats matter, and I'll take this feedback and try to organise something in the future (no promises yet).
Thank you again for raising your concerns and preferences.

tbh issues being fixed slightly slower as a result of engaging with the player base (or even a specific hire for that role) is probs worth it to know we are being heard. A lot of the anger I see, more on twitter etc is because people feel ignored or people saying they're deleting the game, is because the vision for whats to come for the map/gameplay isn't being communicated beyond a vague event title.
A lot of people want to see this game succeed but have skated every spot/challenge many times over by now.. and lack communication of what to look forward to in the long term as well as engagement (like yours) with concerns would ease frustration and pessimism imo.
Anyway personally appreciate you engaging/raising this with your team Groguet.
thanks for letting us know u are active, please more of this, it means alot to the skate community the ones that actually want the game to succeed...
thanks!

Thanks for your kind words.
I might not be writing here all the time, but I am present and reading. I try to keep the Community-Raised Issues thread up to date so that you can see that we are listening and updating the list with new issues the skate team is working on.

EA_Groguet i genuinely believe you guys dont understand what a community driven game is.
i dont mean this to be mean or sound as a direct dig.
but when everything surrounding early access is that this game is going to be influenced by the community then that sets an expectation that there will be consistent replies and being apart of the community as a developer.
what ive witnessed is a lot of business talk like "we hear you but there isnt any comment to be made" which isnt being open and transparent to the community.
then when the grind drops its usually ignoring the bulk of the communities actual daily gripes.
its why theres this vicious circle of people saying the same things over and over again because a lot has been unacknowledged.
people are pissed to wait a year for the original tricks to be in the game (underflips/fingerflips/darkslides)
stalls and grinds are clunky as hell. dev team needs to take a while skating in skate 3 to understand whats wrong. theres no full control of your board on rails/feels like youre on a snowboard on S curve rails/ollies out of stalls and rails are a headache let me ollie in the direction im pointing more effectively.
hire males on the team for culture management. not saying fire the females or anything wild. im asking for balance. Right now the game is so girlie pop/childish that i dont feel great playing the game. matter a fact deleted it earlier today because i had to do challenges at the community park but they are so horribly made that doing the gaps are almost impossible. realized that i was doing the challenges for skirts and tu-tu's cause its all thats left for me to get.
