Yellow challenge issues

I have been playing the past two days and prior to that have always gotten the extra exp for playing with my friends but since season 1 I haven't gotten any exp for that challenge even though we complete all the goals.  The game is also now extremely chopped and will take atleast 4 tries of inviting and the game black screening or just glitching out before we could play, even then doing challenges run the risk of breaking the game so u have to do the process all over again.
