still nothing from the devs mentioning anything about the community being upset?
im straight up expecting a "we're sorry about it" instead of a we're working on it post.
i want the devs to say sorry for not being transparent about this being a reboot of the series and not honoring what it was at all.i want explanations to why brands wont work with you off the gate, why the devs didnt put the original tricks in before working on new ones?, why the microtransactions are so bloated?
if your company ACKNOWLEDGES THE PROBLEMS then maybe the community will feel slight sympathy.
but as of right now your team is just ignoring the bulk of the community and just putting your head down for bug fixes. which isnt a bad move persay? but not being honest with your community and moving on will make everyone leave. its already showing with over 50% of the player base of steam gone in less than a month.
im telling ya. they arent gone just because of just the missions.
the microtransactions are overpriced, the skating feels guided and like we are on ice, transitions are so guided that its boring, the grinds have no flow the music is downright horrible idk who yall got in charge of music but i can tell that either 1. its a women(no hate i can just tell) 2. that the music being portrayed isnt because skaters would skate it. but because you guys got money or a payout from universal music to put out some of their "hit new artists" which is gross.
i dont understand how your team can have skate 3 as a reference and mess up the core feeling of skating. people wouldnt be complaining about nearly as much if your team spent as much time making the physics of skating fun as much as your team pumps out microtransactions. like if it was anywhere close to 1 to 1 but its daily 5-10$ microtransactions with NO UPDATES TO TRICKS OR THE PHYSICS DAILY.
it took 5+years and you guys don't even have the full original catalogue of tricks? grinds are now robotic when you used to be able to move your board freely on a rail once you were locked on not this BS land on rail point a direction then the board moves to my grind. not to mention going down a curved rail will make my character swap between 2-4 grinds to stay on like im on a snow board.
if you didnt mess up everything to its core then people wouldnt be this pissed. theyd just be skating. but unfortunately you guys messed up the core even.
