"A Tremendous Service"and "The Defender" challenges are bugged

Which part of it? Persistent
Summarize your bug Challenges that I've completed are shown to be completed in the after-game screen but then when I go to redeem them are unredeemable and incomplete.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Desolator0
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 12/02/2017
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 08:42 PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Starfighter Assault
What is your time zone? CST - GMT - 6:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have 25/27 Multiplayer challenges completed with "A Tremendous Service" as 25/27 and "The Defender" at 4/5, play Starfighter Assault as a Defender, win the game and see if it counts your challenge progress as being completed for both challenges, then go to try to redeem them.
What happens when the bug occurs? The challenges get marked as completed in the after-game screen, but in the main menu in the "Career" section it marks them as still incomplete.
What do you expect to see? Both of those challenges marked as completed so I can redeem them.

"The Defender" and "A Tremendous Service" challenges are broken.  I've had them both marked as completed twice, but they aren't redeemable at all when I try to redeem them.

    I noticed that my Origin achievement list is different than my in-game achievement list (by design).

    It's from the PS4's screenshot storage in the Media section.  I took this screenshot just to record the date and time when I recorded the glitch and how it didn't mark as complete even though it showed it was done.

    Hi,

    I was literally finding out if anyone was having a problem with this challenge as well. For myself, I had completed the challenge as the defender on Ryloth when I was on the post-game screen it did state that I had finished the 2 multiplayer challenges. But as I discovered on the main menu it still said 4/5 & 25/26. Also, I am currently playing this game on Xbox. Hope it gets fixed. My Gamertag xUKz T13RN3Y.

    I had no choice but to play Starfighter Assault and win as both the Attacker and the Defender. I played both rounds a total of 18 times with all five maps just for it to finally reset, and claim the reward, it finally showed up for the "third" attempt. That took an additional six hours of game play.

    Same here.  Mine is on the 'star destroyer' map.  Win as defender, shows completed on post-game screen, then incomplete and unable to collect on Career Tab.  Last Multiplayer milestone too....and I'm sick of trying to get a defender match on that level and win, only to be disappointed (again, and again)

  • I had the same problem with "The Defender" a while ago, and on Ryloth as well. I got the 5/5 in the end screen, but on the Career page it was only 4/5. And yes, I got the Origin achievement for completed milestones at the same time.

    Today I forced myself to go through every single Starfighter mission until I won every single defense, just so I could be sure that I didn't miss anything. After Ryloth, it showed me the 5/5 again during the end screen - and now I could finally collect the reward on the Career page too.

    "The Aggressor" did a similar number on me. Didn't finish that until today as well. With Fondor being the map that finally got me the 5/5 - which is pretty odd, since I am 100% positive that my team had won the Fondor attack in the past, multiple times.
    Oh well... at least it's done now.

    The last update on 2/6/2018 fixed the issue with a majority of milesones, including this one. You should be able to claim the reward if earned appropriately.

  • Patch 1.2 is to be released this Monday.

    Perhaps this will be fixed then.

    On Monday, the 19th of February, Star Wars Battlefront II Patch 1.2 will go live across all regions and platforms. This update is both a client and server update and will require a client update. While we do not expect downtime on the server side, players will receive the update as outlined below.

    February 19th, 2018
    Scheduled Patch 1.2 Rollout:

    • PC: 9:00 UTC /1:00 AM PT
    • PS4: 10:00 UTC /2:00 AM PT
    • X1: 11:00 UTC /3:00 AM PT


    Patch notes will be posted once the update is verified live. We thank you ahead of time for your patience.
