Aerial star cards stuck

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug I have an old star card stuck in the 3rd position of my aerial units star card slot. It's a pic of the gold head officer droid. Its been there for a long time and I've never been able to access it because that 3rd posotuon was locked until this nee patch in March. I thoight when I unlocked yhe spot I could remove it then. There's no information on yhe card and it doesnt exist in my aerial inventory. It counts as 1 star card equipped and therefore I can only equip 2 actual star cards. I have no way to remove it. I have even bought a new Xbox One S and downloaded the game on it and sure enough, the card is still there, so it's an account issue.

In what game mode did the bug occur? Galactic Assault
What is your time zone? PST - GMT - 8:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? AFAIK only by logging into my account. I have attached pics of my screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? It takes up a star card slot only allowing me access to 2 of my 3 availible slots.
What do you expect to see? The star card removed and my 3rd option opened up.

My phone takes too big of file size pics so I had to zoom way in to just that box and lose the rest of the screen so the file size would work. Both pics are of that same box. First pic is showing the card stuck in the 3rd position. Second pic is showing the cards that are unlocked and that that card doesnt exist.

    And to all that tried to help, thank you!

    And to those still with the problem, just go to your saved data and delete it. It removes all selected star cards and selected weapons. You just have to re-equip them all. But it cleared it. You also had to redo your sensitivity and whatnot to your preferred setup. But that's it. I still have all my campaign milestones completed and everyrhing.

    I have a similar problem but in the first star card slot on my Kylo Ren. It is an empty star card that I cannot remove at all, and takes up 1 of my 3 slots.

    I thought I was the only one! I have this exact problem with the first slot of my officer class. I too can only access 2/3 slots. It just mimics other classes' star cards.

    Is there a fix for this issue yet? It's a major issue that severely messes up gameplay. Any word from a mod would be appreciated...

    When I submitted the big report it said they don't respond and to simply watch patch notes for fixes. That major overhaul patch in march said something about fixing a star card issue. Something about players receiving benefits from star cards from the wrong classes. My bet is thats what happened, but the patch didnt take the cards out of the slots, only negated their bonuses.

    I've had that star card as long as I can remember opening the game. I didn't know it was for the wrong class and it wasnt level 10 because I hardly got any of those star cards which was how the old levels worked, so I couldn't access the 3rd slot at the time to remove it. I didn't get my aerial unit to 10 until after the major patch so I never was able to select that specific star card location and remove it.

    They changed the way star cards are chosen so now it's stuck but good. You used to be able to select the star card position, then select the card that goes into that position. If we could do that, problem sovled. But they made it so you select 3 star cards and they auto get placed. So, now afaik its stuck there until a dev access our accounts and gets in and fixes them manually on their end. Or, they must revert back to how star cards were chosen originally. I highly doubt either will happen, which means we will probably have to wait until another massive change in the game like the one in March.

    Actually, now that I think of that massive patch notes, it caused the very issues it was supposed to fix. My account never had the yellow noy ifications stuck on the troops and characters showing something new. It worked perfectly for me. My gieelfriends account however, did have a couple of her units that always had the yellow marker on.

    That massive patch in March said it fixed those issues. And it did. She no longer has the yelliw notifications. But now I do. Only my base troopers, base starfighters and vehicles turn the yellow notification off. Everything else in my collection has the yellow notification stuck on. I had everything unlocked before the patch, my gf did not.

    So that patch actually caused the very issues it fixed for other people. The star card stuck and the permanent yellow notifications.

    Could you upload a video showing that you can equip any cards to the class that its not working on?

    Mine is on the Xbox one and one S, so it may take me a little bit to figure out how to record and then host it somewhere since the file size would be too big to just upload here (I'm assuming since just my cell phone pics were too big), but yes. I'll reply with the video asap.

    Ok, I think I got it. It's just a minute long showing the on card in on its own, that it's not in the inventory and that it will only allow me to select 2 cards to be used.

    I used the Xbox one capture it, put it on one drive, then hosted it on my old gaming YouTube channel.

    Oh, and this last patch last week fixed the permanent yellow notifications thing. So for me, all thats wrong is that one star card in that one slot for that one class.
