Yep, I can confirm this has already happened on my end as well. I have no idea what causes it, and it doesn't seem to get fixed unless the backwards walking AI dies.
@RogueZeroRendar, there's also an another bug in instant action which is the fact that the AI does not choose the hero at all during a match. For instance, in two cases I have encountered, in Ajan Kloss, Palpatine is not selected by the AI and Boba Fett is not selected by the AI either in Death Star II. Did you encounter this bug too?

No, these ones I've never stumbled upon. Actually I rarely ever played IA, probably less then 10 times in total, it was mostly when I was testing the AI behavior when they could shoot while dodging or being ragdolled.But the running backwards I remember very well, too bad when I started recording the Hero got stuck in a place that I couldn't make it leave, so I don't have footage of it.
