Why did you post the same bug twice?
Its not a bug, your joystick on your controller is worn out. This has been adressed multiple times.
If you go into your gameplay options theres a toggle for running.

To be honest I thought one hadn't posted, thanks for pointing it out.
This isn't a problem with running or toggle running. It's a problem with aiming. I can be walking, crouching, running or sprinting, it doesn't matter. My AIM get's stuck in a direction. This DOES NOT happen in any other game. Only Battlefront 2. Sorry for the caps but I feel i need to make that explicitly clear. It's seemingly random but the fact that I could re-create it on a very specific area of a mission, means that it isn't my controller. I could force it to do the bug 95% of the time on a very small specific space.
Again, this doesn't happen in any other game. It's not my controller. Nor is it anything to do with my left stick or running.
Edit: it's also not my stick deadzone. There IS a deadzone, but the setting is wayyyy past the stick's deadzone. I made sure to test it when I changed the setting. The deadzone does not mess with my aim.
Edit 2: I'm gonna play again now and try without aim assist turned on. However, if that fixes it, just because it does so, does not mean it's not a bug. I should be able to have aim assist on, and not have a problem.
Edit 3: As expected, turning aim assist off did nothing to fix it.
