Battlefront 2: Aerial Reinforcement Game Crash

I just recently got Battlefront 2, and aside from lag on my part, I have had no game-breaking issues. Until yesterday, I was playing the Jet Trooper on Geonosis(Attack). I used his left ability, my game froze and then the game closed itself. Now, ever since then, the problem has been repeated every time I use the jet trooper. Any time I use his left ability, the game crashes at random. It's not even exactly when - I can play the game for a while, and then I'll use the ability and all of a sudden the game crashes. I tried repairing the game through origin and it seemed to have worked for a while until it happened again today. I don't know what to do. I would reinstall, but I am unsure if my game progress will be saved if I reinstall the game.

    System crashes when using the aerial class appears to be a widespread issue.

    I cannot finish a co-op match if I use an aerial, my system will crash at some point.  If I avoid the aerial I pretty much always can finish a match.

    A shame, because the aerials are a ton of fun.

    I share your concern about losing all my progress with a reinstall.  I would appreciate hearing other's opinions on this.

    Yeah not only for coop but in all mode Aerial Reinforcement lead you to crash i hope they fix it fast because it started getting more annoying. Dev come on.......

    I played a couple hours this weekend with no crashes, even using the aerial.  Not sure if I just got lucky or if the issue has been worked on.

    Hi, I started reading this forum cause I couldn't find any possible solutions to my game freezes, but I can move my mouse to look around for 3 seconds and then it crashes. I found this topic so yea, I have the same issue. This happened to me 2 or 3 times a day, especially when using the Jet Trooper. (I have 8 GB RAM, an I5-4460, GTX-750Ti and the game is installed on an SSD.)

    Wanted to add that on the day of posting this, I am having a very similar problem. I play aerial troopers frequently, and after the latest Scarif update, every time I use my left star card ability as an aerial trooper, my game will freeze while my character is in mid air and after a few seconds my game client will crash and close. This seems to be fairly consistent and really stops me from playing the game. Hopefully a fix comes soon. I am on PC using an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT graphics card, if that helps.

    Happens to me very often on Xbox. I enjoy aerial so much so I get the crash one to two times every play session

    Bam! Having the same issue and commented on two other posts with possibly the same crash issue.

    While playing co-op, playing the jet trooper most of the time, I crash exactly like the op. When I press a key the game closes and Origin pops up ready to launch the game again.

    I'm guessing it has something to do with the airal characters. 

    Both game and Origin are updated on my PC.
