Battlefront 2 no XP or Milestone tracking (except Arcade and Campaign)

New to Battlefront 2, but I recently realized that I am gaining no Unit XP, and I am not getting any tracking for Timed Challenges or any other unit based milestones. That said, I am seeing tracking ...

I have had no change in my situation. I am gaining no XP at all, Timed Challenges still get no progress. 

I have no realistic idea what this actually does, but I gather that XP will grant some benefits to classes and heroes. I am interested in having my time go into gaining these benefits, and there is no solution on the forums for my issue. 

Please advise.
